Elizabeth Buki November 20, 1931- July 11, 2020.
With her family by her side, Elizabeth Buki, age 88, passed away peacefully at Good Shepherd Hospice House in Lakeland Florida on Saturday July 11, 2020. Elizabeth was born in Papakovacsi, Hungary on November 20, 1931, daughter of the late Joseph and Jolan (née: Tomcsik) Kurali. She married the love of her life, Karl Buki and they came to the United States. Elizabeth worked at Nabisco, in Illinois, until she retired, and moved to Lakeland Florida in 1995. Elizabeth enjoyed sewing, dancing, entertaining, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She especially looked forward to visits from family from out of state/town. Elizabeth will be dearly missed by her sisters Caroline Dahl and Ili Farkas, sister in law, Irma Kurali, nieces, Elizabeth (Robert) Erman, Susan (George) Lambert, Edina Kurali, Gabriella Farkas, nephews, Robert (Myte) Dahl, Timothy (Victoria) Dahl, Gyula Kurali, Robert Farkas, and all of her great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was also preceded in death by her husband Karl Buki, siblings, Joseph Kurali, Gyula Kurali, Irene Fulup, Frank Kurali, Brother in law, Walter Dahl, Ferenc Farkas, sister-in-law Teri Kurali.
Services will be held on Monday, July 13, 2020 at 11:00 A.M.
At the family’s request in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Elizabeth’s name can be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, or to the charity of your choice.
The family would like to extend a special Thank you to Good Shepherd Hospice and to the staff at Good Shepherd Hospice House.
