Edna Jewel Harrington was born to the union of Horace and Pansy Taylor in Lakeland, Florida on July 5, 1945.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Harrington and Sis. Florance D. McClendon.
Survived by her Children: Yolanda(Mark)Brown, Dione Barr, Dolmeshia Barr, Princeanna (Glenn) Caddell, 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren ,(Sisters): Patricia Bennett, Carolyn Bryant, Sarah Echel, Deloria Taylor, Only Brother, Pastor Horace (Karen) Taylor, Special Daughters Sis. Wendy, Sis. Tina, God Son: Henry Ingram Jr. and Tony Patman , Special Sisters: Pastor Gwen and Sis. Victoria Vickers, Special Son: Robert Crumbley ,God Daughter: Gene V .Peaker, and host of nieces and nephews.
Edna was a lifelong resident of Lakeland where she attended and graduated from Rochelle High with the class of 1963. She went on to graduate from Travis Tech Vocational with a degree in Early Childhood Education where she began her career teaching in both private and public schools for over 30 years.
After retiring from teaching she began to devote her life and time to the ministry as an evangelist. She loved traveling, cooking, and was best known for her sense of humor, style, and fashion which was her own. Edna showed the heart of God and shared His love with everyone. Edna was a prayer warrior and devout women of God. In love she opened her doors to feed, shelter, pray, mentor and guide countless souls to Christ.
