Draken International, based at Lakeland Linder Airport, rose from 90th last year to 18th this year on Inc. Magazine’s list of 5,000 fastest-growing companies in the U.S.

Draken, which contracts with military services for enemy air training, achieved 10,562 percent three-year growth to 2017 revenue of $30.4 million, according to the Inc. list.

Draken is the fourth highest-ranked Florida company on the list and the second highest-ranked government services company.

“We are honored to be acknowledged for our rapid growth over the past few years. We have always believed in the importance of supporting our military with credible, cost-effective air services, and our ability to deliver on this mission has afforded us this tremendous opportunity,” CEO Jared Isaacman said.

The company has built the world’s largest collection of privately owned fighter aircraft for use in its training activities.

It is the only Polk County company on the Inc. 5000 list.
