If nighttime valet parking comes to downtown Lakeland, drivers will still be able to park their own cars and they’ll have access to the closest parking places. Those are the first questions downtown officials clarified in an FAQ posted on Facebook today.
The FAQ came in response to questions that have come since the Downtown Development Authority started promoting a citizen survey (take it here) about the proposal for a one-year pilot program, LDDA Director Julie Townsend said. (Check our earlier story introducing the valet program.)
