Donald Beverly Ketcham, 89

Donald Beverly Ketcham went to be present with his Heavenly Father on August 5, 2021.

Don was born in Bridgeton, New Jersey on March 15, 1932. After receiving Jesus Christ as his personal Savior, he went to Tennessee Temple Bible College, and was ordained into full time ministry. He pastored Jupiter Baptist Church, 1st Baptist Church of Ruskin, and was with Word of Life, and Assistant Pastor at Fayetteville Street Baptist Church in Asheboro, North Carolina.

After years of ministry, he had to retire due to health reasons. Following his retirement, Don and his wife started Ketcham’s Art Supply & Framing in Lakeland from 1973-1999. They then moved to Sun City Center until their return to Lakeland in June 2017 to live with their eldest son due to their age and failing health.

Don was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Anne Nell Ketcham. He is survived by his 3 children, Gary Ketcham, Beverly Harwell (Gene) and Philip Ketcham (Carin); 5 grandchildren, Elizabeth Ramos, Heather Harwell, Philip Ketcham, Jr., Dustin Ketcham, Shawn Ketcham; and 7 great grandchild.

Visitation will be Wed. 10 to 11 a.m. with an 11 a.m. service at Gentry Morrison Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Road Lakeland. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Burial Park. Condolences may be sent to the family at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Homes.
