Desonia Dixon, 68

Desonia Dixon was born January 12, 1953 in Lakeland, FL. to the late Lewis Dixon and Bertha Lee Dixon. She was a Press Operator at Florida Tile where she retired in 2004. She will be forever loved and missed by all. On January 18, 2021, she received her final assignment at Lakeland Regional Health Care Hospital from the King of Kings.

Desonia Dixon was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis Dixon and Bertha Lee Dixon; loving daughter, Deshon R. Dixon; two sisters, Agnes Dixon and Nancy Pearl Dixon-Latimore. Desonia (Sonya) loved her family, the Lord, & all who knew her.

Desonia leaves to cherish her memory a loving family; her son, Pelmo Coleman III; grandchildren, Kayla A.Walker, Pelmeisha Coleman, & Pelmo Coleman IV; sisters, Elizabeth Clark Brown , Eunice Dixon, Phyllis Dixon Bennett (Isaiah), Carolyn M. Dixon-Stephens (William); brothers, David Dixon ( Teresa), Willie J. Dixon (Linda), Willie L. Dixon (Gloria), J.P. Dixon (Eula), & Ham Swain Jr. (Creasy); her special friends, Margaret Felton & Annie P. Smith and a host of nieces & nephews, who she never forgot. She will be deeply missed each and every day but her memories will keep us close to our hearts.
