David "Buddy" F. Hand, 83

David F Hand (Buddy) 83, passed away in Lakeland, Florida on Thursday, March 18 2021.

Born December 9, 1938 in Holmes County, Florida, he was an employee for the City of Frostproof for over 35 years. When he was not working, he was with his grandchildren teaching them how to drive a tractor or playing baseball. He loved NASCAR, sitting on his porch swing with a glass of Mountain Dew, listening to Elvis, and wearing his cowboy boots.

David is survived by his son David Hand, his grandchildren, Sarah, David and Emily Hand, and his great grandchildren, Annalise, Adalynn and Luca. David is now in Heaven with his parents Ada, Jesse, sister Marie and his beloved wife, Susie.

Services will be held at Central Florida Casket Store and Funeral Chapel on March 22, 2021 at 6:00 P.M. for immediate family and friends. He will be laid to rest at a later date at Silver Hill Cemetery in Frostproof. Condolences may be sent to the family at Central Florida Funeral Chapel.
