The Lakeland-based band Copeland will end its third major tour in a year — this one a nostalgia fest featuring music from all periods of the band’s 15-year career — with a Dec. 13 show at Tampa’s Orpheum Theater.
The 27-city tour kicks off Nov. 7 in Birmingham and will include a string section and guest vocalist Rae Cassidy who performed on the band’s 2008 “You Are My Sunshine” album, Copeland and leader Aaron Marsh announced via videos on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.

Ticket prices for the Tampa show, the band’s only Florida date, have not been announced, although a limited number of VIP tickets are available for $90 each. General admission tickets go on sale Friday.
The tour announcement coincides with word that the band has gained control of its music following a record-label dispute and its albums are again available via major online retailers such as iTunes and Amazon and streaming services such as Spotify.
Last fall, Copeland ended a 25-city national tour — its first in more than five years — with a show in Orlando. It was followed up with an April-May tour of Indonesia, Singapore and the Phillipines. (View setlists.)
