Demetrius Haynes resigned as vice chair of Lakeland’s police advisory board on Monday night after the head of the police union said posts he made on Facebook could endanger a sheriff’s deputy, Fox 13 News reports. Haynes, who remains a member of the advisory panel, had said the deputy harassed him in a case of mistaken identity.
