In a 3-2 vote, city commissioners Monday rejected a proposal to place a 150-foot cell tower in the center of an 11-acre, wooded lot at the northeast corner of Ariana Street and Harden Boulevard. Commissioners, who heard from eight residents opposed to the tower, said they based their denial on impacts on the surrounding area and a preference to retain the multi-family zoning currently on the property | The proposal
