David Dickey Jr. took a video stroll through the first-floor construction at Posto 9, the Brazilian gastropub slated to open across from Munn Park in early December. The video was shot today, eight days before the initial opening date of Dec. 1. While owner Marco Franca promises to open the first-floor main dining room and lounge in early December, he says the rooftop lounge won’t be open until January because of delays involving the elevator.
The restaurant, which has operated for nearly 17 years near Lake Miriam Square, was named Small Business of the Year by the Lakeland Area Chamber of Commerce last December.
