Brenda Nette Smith-Johnson, 57

Brenda Nette Johnson was a kind, lovable person and was loved by many who knew her. She was born August 27, 1963 in Lakeland, Florida to the late James & Ruby Smith.

She was employed at several Family Dollar Stores for 20 plus years. Once she became disabled, her health began to fail to the extent she was hospitalized at Lakeland Regional Health Hospital until she was called home in victory by a merciful and loving Savior on August 18, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her parents; James & Ruby Smith; her loving husband, Robert Johnson; brothers, James Smith Jr., Eugene Smith; sisters, Mariah Cheeseborough, Betty Ann Crawford & Gail Stephens.

She leaves to cherish her loving family; son, Justin Jackson; three grandchildren, Kylee Little, Jacaaic Little and Jordan Jackson; siblings, Ollie Abram (Sam), Dorothy Williams, Gerome Smith (Mary)), Leroy Smith, and Theron Smith; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Special Thanks to her caregiver, Ollie for taking good care of her.

There will be a visitation held at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 27, 2021 at New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church (1321 N Webster Avenue Lakeland, FL 33805). The funeral service will follow immediately after, also at New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Condolences may be sent to the family at Oldham Funeral Home.
