Mrs. Annie Mae Harvell, age 88, died at home in Lakeland, Florida, on Friday, October 16, 2020. The cause was old age/natural causes.

Born on December 18, 1931 in Pahokee, FL. She lived in Fort Lauderdale, Florida for most of her natural life, before relocating to Atlanta, GA in 2017; only recently returning to Florida. She worked as a housekeeper for the late Jackie Gleason and later at the Salvation Army as Housekeeping Supervisor until retiring in 1996.

Annie is survived by her son, Sherrell Sutton, her grandchildren, Shawanda McCullough (Lakeland, FL), Sterling Palmer, Isiss Sutton, Lavon Edwards, Morris Sutton Jr, Brandon Sutton, Kimberly Sutton, Shante Sutton, Chelle Sutton, and a host of other grands and great grands. Annie was preceded in death by her spouse, Major Tony Harvell, her mother, Estelle Oliver, 3 sons, Morris Sutton Sr., Earl Sutton, and Vincent Sutton.
