Alvin Brant Meadows, 80, died December 31st, 2020. He was born in Auburndale, Florida on April 29th 1940 to the late Collis N. and Murie Lee Meadows. He remained a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Auburndale High School.

Alvin went to the University of Georgia on a football scholarship, then joined the US Army where he was honorably discharged in 1964. He was an industrial electrician by trade, a hunter and fisherman by choice.

Mr. Meadows is survived by his children, Alvin Brant Meadows II (Washington DC), Amy Rene Edwards (Winter Haven), Malcolm Eric Meadows (Windsor, North Carolina), Loren Rae Blackwelder (Frostproof), Marcy Kay Meadows (Sugar Grove, Ohio), three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one grandson.

A celebration of life is planned for early Fall 2021.
